Sign around Southern Cross University, Lismore. Yeah, koalas really do cross the roads — I’ve swerved around them once or twice. Cute little blighters.

Richmond Hill, “suburb” of Lismore. Beautiful area. In the background are macadamia farms. Yum.

These ducks at Narrabeen Lake followed me some way, wanting a piece of my sandwich after I foolishly broke off a small piece of bread and threw it to them.

Or one of them. Ford. Dunno what else about it. But I like its unusual shape. And it’s just funky. It’s like it can’t make up its mind to be a sedan or a ute. Or maybe that’s just how I see it!

Last June 2008. I think it’s time for another holiday up north. I’m restless and needing surf, sunsets and sand.

Sunset on NYE in Melbourne. The blue line is the railway line/bridge. It was a glorious evening, perfect for fireworks.

Taken on NYE. Every night on the hour from 9pm to midnight, Crown Casino puts on this fire display. It’s quite good and if you stand near it, it’ll warm you up. On another night I was at the casino having dinner but out on the patio. Every hour I could feel the warmth from these things as I sat there having my meal.
