Posted in Uncategorized with tags Carrington Hotel, Katoomba, NSW, wedding reception on January 18, 2010 by BronwynNo, I’m not getting married but if I were, this is where I’d want the reception. It’s the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba, NSW. I’ve long loved it and whenever I’m up in Katoomba I go there for a cocktail or high tea. It’s not cheap, but whatever! It’s classy and it’s all art deco, and it’s a reminder of another era when buildings were beautiful.

You’re like a rollercoaster…
Posted in Uncategorized with tags 4WD, Great Sandy National Park, holiday, Machine Gun Fellatio, MGF, Queensland, rain, rainforest, rollercoaster, Sunshine Coast on June 25, 2009 by Bronwyn…toast ya, in a big four-poster bed. Driving through the Great Sandy National Park after coming off the beach, it certainly felt like we were on a rollercoaster, much to my delight even though I was just a mere passenger!

And then…

…the rain came. Briefly. Crazy Queensland weather. But it was beautiful, nevertheless.

Atop the hang-gliding platform. AJ’s lonely-looking 4WD below.
